OWEN MICHAEL HART (published on April 02, 2007)
OWEN MICHAEL HART It is with broken hearts that we announce the tragic and accidental death of our most precious son and brother, Owen Michael Hart on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the tender age of 17. Left to cherish Owen's memory are his loving parents, Michael and Carol, brother Tyson, grandparents, William and Olga Waskul, Gerald and Margaret Hart and great-grandmother Mary Hasiuk. Owen is a treasured nephew and cousin to Ken, Janice, Shelby and Logan Waskul; Susan, Perry, Caitlin and Britney Sawka; Shannon, Lyle and Kate Handfield; Jim, Sandy, Kris and Iain Hart; Carrie Hart; Allan and Kyle Hart; Rory, Glenda and Eric Hart; and special grandma Vi and Ralph Crumb. Besides his family, Owen will be deeply missed by his girlfriend Ryeleagh Mustard and her family, his closest schoolmates and friends, Aaron Janzen, Dallas Mozil, Jesse Anderson, Eric Mehl and Evan Panchyshyn along with numerous other schoolmates with whom he would have been graduating in June. He will be remembered always by a vast breadth of family and friends. Since his birth on July 26, 1989, Owen has grown into an exceptional and respectful young man who has touched countless lives and hearts. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, time at the lake, giving a helping hand and tinkering with motors of all kinds. His passion in life was mechanics and thanks to the team at Edie Construction, who instantly became his extended family, he was working towards attaining his Diesel Mechanics Apprenticeship. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brokenhead River Recreational Complex, James Avenue East, Beausejour, MB. To honour Owen's memory, a scholarship fund has been created in his name at Springfield Collegiate Institute (SCI) to support the mechanics field and also the music field. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SCI Scholarship Fund for Owen Hart' to the school directly or to the fund at Oakbank Credit Union. The family extends sincere thanks to the police and rescue personnel and all those who had a hand in making his final journey as comfortable as possible. We are so very proud of you our darling. Words cannot describe the pain and emptiness that now fills our lives and hearts. We look forward to the day when we see your smiling face and sparkling eyes again because that will be the day we are reunited and our family is whole once more. school days seem to be getting longer, and the evenings and weekends seem to be getting shorter.
There is just 38 more school days untill im officially done highschool forever ( lets hope i pass my chemistry final).
I've decided to continue working at Pineridge, but not do banquets, because that was totally lame. Instead im being the receptionist which is sort of cool. all i have to do is answer phones so yeah whatever.
schools hard
so many assignments and tests this term
ugh @ english and chem especially
i will never forget.
i'm pretty sure the death of fire captains Lessard and Nichols affected everyone quite differently--effecting some people not at all.
i experienced and still am experiencing very high emotional stress.
my dad was at that fire in St.B on sunday night,
my dad could have been the one trapped in the flames,
my dad could have been the one who died.
its hard to watch my dad struggle with his emotional self at this time too.
its hard to watch my dad return to work.
these words mean alot to me;
"Dad has been a fireman all my of life and has fought thousands of fires and has always come home. Part of me is still waiting for him to come home." -Kelly Nichols
RIP. you will be remembered by me forever
i have so much work to do before reading week--2 weeks. rahhhhh
ENGLISH
Monologue
Short Story
Poetry Assignment
ART
Research Paper
Sketch Assignments
Statue thingy
and thats only 2/5 of my classes...
its almost overrrrrrr though!!!!
The last day of class for me is like the end of March. It is VERY exciting.
grad dress shopping this weekendddd
i have crappy marks.
english was a big suprise. i ended up getting 96% on my exam putting my report card mark to a 78%.
math was a suprise too i guess. hardest exam ever but i got 60% on it, and now sit at 75%.
art is dumb.. i personally think i should have over 90%, but 90% is what i have.. i hate her, and she marks really really dumb..
i failed my chemistry exam..with a 48%, i though i would atleast pass, but that was my only REALLY big let down of 2nd term exams i guess..and you would think that he would atleast have our term mark after we have been on holidays for like 3 weeks, but that is still undetermined.
&BIO im not sure. anything will be fine becuase its averaging with a 93, so w/e. i should hopefully havve a good mark in bio depending what i got on the exam
am i fucked or something, whenever i think i do okay i fail, ALWAYS (last term english, this term chemistry, and now sudden doubts about my bio exam), and when ever i think i do bad i do pretty okay. (english & math this term).
is it just me or does it happen to everyone..
